This artist book traces San Diego's antiwar movement within the military from 1969 to 1972 through a collection of photographs, periodicals, and publications. Drawing on eight years of research and interviews with elder activists, Apodaca pairs these long-forgotten archival treasures with his own written interpretations. In doing so, the artist reframes this movement as a strategy for anti-imperialist organizing, offering a provocative template for the present.
